Giving to Magdalene

There are a variety of ways in which you can support the College. Single gifts can be made by cheque, bank transfer, CAF vouchers, by text or via a transfer of stocks and shares. You can also give regularly to the College via standing order or direct debit. Some employers operate a give as you earn (GAYE) scheme, which would allow you to donate to the College regularly and many employers operate a matching gift scheme whereby the company also makes a contribution to your chosen charity. Alternatively, you may wish to make provision for Magdalene in your will.

The College is a registered charity (charity number 1137542; Inland Revenue number X59426) and this allows UK, US and Canadian tax-payers to make tax efficient gifts to the College’s Campaign. Our section on Gift Aid explains the benefits of tax-efficient giving to both the UK donor and the charity. There are also certain arrangements in place for those who would like to give from overseas in a tax-efficient way.
