edward cripps (1951-2009)

the master and fellows are deeply saddened to inform members of the untimely death of edward cripps, honorary fellow. edward was, alongside his brother robert and in the tradition of his father humphrey, a great benefactor to the college and a personal friend to many here. his great affection for magdalene was strongly reciprocated by all who knew him. a service of thanksgiving will be held at st.edmund's church, southwold at 1pm on thursday 3 september. our deepest sympathies go to edward's partner margaret and to his family and friends.
