degrees can also be conferred in absentia on the following dates: ssssssssss

* the ceremony on 16 may is designed primarily for those proceeding to their ma. those proceeding to other degrees are encouraged to consider alternative dates.

please note that, before applying to proceed to a degree, it is the responsibility of each individual to ensure that all of their paperwork is in order and that they have clear notification from the board of graduate studies that they are in standing to do so.

those proceeding to the ma will receive an invitation from the college to attend a ceremony of their choice.  to receive your degree in person or in absentia you must contact the alumni & development office at least three weeks before the date of the degree ceremony you plan to attend. the fee payable to receive the ma degree is £30.00. since 2007 we have offered a more comprehensive ma day in may only and we encourage as many eligible members as possible to proceed to their degree on that day. further details can be found here

those proceeding to degrees other than the ma will receive notification from the board of graduate studies once they are in standing to do so. only then should they contact the alumni & development office. please apply at least three weeks before the date of the degree ceremony you plan to attend.
