certificates are collected during the ceremony or will be posted to those taking the degree in absentia.

a maximum of three guests per person are permitted at the senate house.  lunch is served in college for graduands and, other than on ma day when special arrangements apply, a maximum of three guests per graduand are permitted to attend lunch (guests are charged at £15 per head). guest places are allocated on a first come first served basis until capacity is reached.

magdalene candidates usually receive their degrees in the early afternoon.
