the college is a registered charity (charity number 1542; inland revenue number X59426) and this allows uk, us and canadian tax-payers to make tax efficient gifts to the college’s campaign. our section on gift aid explains the benefits of tax-efficient giving to both the (uk) donor and the charity. some general information on charitable giving can also be found by clicking here. further details on tax-efficient giving from the us and canada are given here there are a variety of ways in which you can support the college. single gifts can be made quickly and easily via secure online giving through the charities aid foundation (caf). single gifts can also be made by cheque, bank transfer, caf vouchers or via a transfer of stocks and shares. a standing order or direct debit can be set up to give to the college on a regular basis. some employers operate a give as you earn (gaye) scheme, which would allow you to donate to the college regularly and many employers operate a matching gift scheme whereby the company also makes a contribution to your chosen charity. more information on all of these forms of giving as well as the necessary donation forms can be found by clicking on the relevant button in the navigation panel on the left. if you have any questions or would like to find out more about the campaign then please contact the fellow for development, dr mark billinge. we are grateful for your interest and support. download the campaign flyer here |
