the magdalene association was formed over 80 years ago by a c benson in order to promote contact between non-resident magdalene members and the college. membership is free and open to all who matriculate at magdalene.

the association runs a variety of events including (in alternating years) the annual dinner & agm in march/april and the chairman’s lunch in july.  future events include several gallery visits, a dinner in the house of commons and a (return) joint event with magdalen college, oxford. the association also organises an occasional essay competition open to all members.
